Obsidian is a program for Mac that allows its users to take notes using a light markup plain text system such as Markdown.
Obsidian The starting point is the idea of hypertext as a way of organizing our thinking. Thus, this program promises to become your 'second brain', where all ideas are interconnected and organized in a non-linear way. Thus, the user will be able to jump from idea to idea in this note-taking space, just as our usual line of thought does. You can then look at how your line of thinking has worked, what connections have emerged and how to develop new ideas from these.
The notes application has an eye-catching design, allowing us to organize our notes by folders, create charts that automatically connect ideas and much more. For example, from the 'graph' option we can create notes that will be connected to other notes. At the same time we will be generating connections of ideas that not even we ourselves would be able to see, and all this in real time, to inspire us while we write. We will also be able to link our notes to other notes or attach links.
Obsidian is a tool for Mac that seeks to go a step further in the world of note-taking, trying to emulate the thinking system of our brain to create a space of interconnections between ideas much more inspiring than a simple notepad.
